‘Coco’ 2016 - 5 hour performance in three parts that are cyclical.
Heritage Hotel Residency, Goa, India

The work was developed over a number of weeks by collecting discarded organic materials from coconut palms and spending time with local leaf weavers learning traditional techniques. The work is a site specific piece, performed in an old colonial villa and reflects on Goa's colonial past as well as the constant cycle of renewal that is so apparent in the region and the symbolic links of the coconut to fertility and the female.
